The Challenges
Dropdown Menu Images
The client wanted a dynamic menu i.e. when any images are uploaded in the drop-down menu, they should fit in with the same dimensions.
Notice Bar at Header
They wanted there to be a notice bar in the header so that the customer can get immediate information on visiting their website.
Expiry Date with Notice Show/Hide
The client wanted to make sure that the customer can see the expiry date of the offers. They wanted to be able to control the visibility of this feature.
The Solutions
Image Size Management
We managed to maintain the upload size requirements through CSS. Therefore, when the client uploads images, they fit the dimensions without compromising on quality.
Custom Date for Notice Bar
We solved the expiry date issue by giving the admin the ability to set custom dates for the notice bar so that it can appear in the header section at the right time.
Custom Button
The show/hide issue of the notice bar was resolved when we developed a custom option for showing and hiding this feature in the WordPress backend.
